ASBA Scholarship Program
Beginning in 1982, the ASBA Educational Foundation has awarded college scholarships to children of Arkansas school board members. The awards are based on a student's academic record and leadership potential. One award is made in each of the four congressional districts, and one at-large.

- The grants will be one-time scholarships to entering freshmen at Arkansas two-year or four-year institutions of higher education;
- Each scholarship amount will be at least $650.00.
The scholarships applications will be evaluated on the following:
- Academic performance;
- Demonstrated need;
- Demonstrated leadership;
- Three letters of recommendation, one each:
- from a teacher;
- from a principal or assistant principal, and
- from a member of the community;

- student's grade point;

- PACT/PSAT/ACT/SAT score(s);
