In a collaborative effort to make sure all of our membership stays informed during this challenging time, the Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators (AAEA) and the Arkansas School Boards Association (ASBA), has scheduled a virtual Joint Leadership Conference. We believe this will provide a valuable professional development opportunity for school board members, superintendents, and others to share up-to-date information and ideas from other practitioners. We encourage administrators and board members to virtually attend this event at your home or office. WHEN: The Virtual Joint Leadership Conference will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2020, from 8:30 to noon. The meeting will be held via Zoom. A meeting link and instructions will be emailed to attendees by June 22, 2020.
TRAINING HOURS: Conference attendees will earn three hours of boardsmanship training credit for attendance.
REGISTRATION: Registration is $105 per person, for AAEA or ASBA members, through Wednesday, June 17, 2020, and $120 after that date. A non-member registration is an option for registrants who are not members of AAED or ASBA. The rate is $205 per person through Wednesday, June 17, 2020, and $220 after that date. Preregistration is required. Online registration will close at 4 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2020.
Requests for cancellation must be in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. Cancellation requests received through June 17, 2020, will be refunded at 100 percent. Cancellation requests received after that date will be refunded at 50 percent. There will be no refunds for cancellations after June 23, 2020.
