Board Member Roles in the Reopening of Schools Webinar

Board Member Roles in the Reopening of Schools Webinar

Location: Virtual Zoom

ASBA will present a Zoom Webinar for Arkansas School Board members on Thursday, July 2, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. School reopening will be here before you know it and all of us are wondering what that should and could look like. The purpose of the Webinar is to identify the proper role of the local board/board member in planning for reopening schools in August and to help you identify some of the questions that board members should now be asking and seeking answers. The Webinar will be of an informal nature with a panel of practitioners and officials. Dr. Prothro will begin the Webinar by recapping how to “Be the Best Board Member You Can Be”. He will then moderate a question and answer program that we hope will answer many of your questions and inspire you to think about others needing answers.

When you register for this Webinar, you may choose to check an “Audit Only” option which allows you to participate fully at no cost and with no training credit granted. An alternative option you may choose when you register allows you to take the course for 2 hours of training credit If you choose this option, your district will be invoiced as it usually is when you register for a course. If you choose this option, the cost will be $80.
