Annual Conference 2025

Registration is now open for the 72nd ASBA Annual Conference, happening December 10–12, 2025, at the Marriott-Statehouse Convention Center in downtown Little Rock! The conference is the largest gathering of school board members in Arkansas each year. It is where education leaders come together to learn, collaborate, and set the course for stronger schools across our state.

This year’s theme, “Mission Possible: Local Leadership, Lasting Success,” underscores the vital role of school boards in shaping the future of education. Over the course of three days, board members can earn up to 13 hours of state-approved training credit, meeting and exceeding annual training requirements in one event. The conference is designed to serve ALL board members, with inspiring keynote speakers and breakout sessions covering a wide variety of topics—each aimed at providing practical strategies, new perspectives, and proven tools to help boards drive student success.

In addition to robust professional development and networking, the conference features Commercial Affiliate exhibits, where attendees can connect with trusted partners offering innovative products, services, and solutions to support their districts. The event also highlights excellence in leadership with the presentation of annual awards, including the Dr. Dan Pilkinton Award and the Board of Excellence Award. Attendees will enjoy hearing from student speaking contest winners and seeing talented student performers take the stage.

The 72nd Annual ASBA Conference will strengthen your leadership and amplify your service to students and communities. You don’t want to miss it!
