This 45-minute session is designed to help accurately create the report on individual school board member training hours as required by Arkansas law. The session will cover statutory expectations and timelines, how to verify board member training hours using the ASBA database, and step-by-step guidance for completing the ASBA-provided fillable template. Presenters will also address why accurate reporting matters, including the penalties in statute tied to receiving mandatory training hours. This practical session is well-suited for superintendents, board secretaries, and district staff responsible for creating and explaining the school board member training hour report.
Participants will be able to submit questions during the webinar. Any questions that cannot be answered within the allotted time will receive a follow-up response after the session.
