Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators (AAEA) and Arkansas School Boards Association (ASBA) have a long history of working together in education. The first AAEA/ASBA Joint Conference was held in April 1995. This year’s 26th Annual Joint Leadership Conference will provide a valuable professional development opportunity for school board members, superintendents, and district personnel to network and gain needed insight into the issues and events impacting education today.

WHEN: The Joint Leadership Conference will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2022. This will be a HYBRID conference, meaning that you can choose to either come in person to the meeting or join us virtually via Zoom. You will choose one or the other when you register. For those attending in person, check-in and a continental breakfast begin at 7:30 a.m. The conference begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. Lunch is included with registration.
WHERE: Wyndham Riverfront Hotel, 2 Riverfront Place, North Little Rock
TRAINING HOURS: Conference attendees will earn six hours of boardsmanship training credit for all-day attendance.
REGISTRATION:
- In-person registration is $185 per person, for AAEA or ASBA members, through Tuesday, April 19, 2022, and $205 after April 19.
- Virtual registration is $155 per person, for AAEA or ASBA members through Tuesday, April 19, and $170 after April 19.
- Online registration will close at 4 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2022.
- Non-member registration is $285/person through April 19 and $305 after April 19. In-Person registration is the only option for non-members.
You may register on-site on the day of the workshop.
Requests for cancellation must be in writing to kivy@arsba.org. Cancellation requests received through April 26 will be refunded at 100 percent. Cancellation requests received after April 26 will be refunded at 50 percent. There will be no refunds for cancellations after May 2, 2022.
HOTEL RESERVATIONS: A block of rooms has been reserved at Wyndham Riverfront for conference attendees. The special room rate is $96 for single occupancy, and $10 extra for each additional person per room, up to 4 people. This rate will be available until April 11 or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first.
